From RAGE in Sweden to Medea’s Children in Athens: On the last 6 months, Milo Rau’s productions have been touring no fewer than 20 countries!
Rau’s ‘masterful’ (Le Monde) performance La Lettre alone was performed in 28 cities in 8 countries, whilst “the landmark in art of theatre” The Pelicot Trial was staged in even 12 countries – from Lisbon to New York.
This year’s edition of the Vienna Festival – Republic of Gods – which came to an end a month ago, attracted 200,000 people, including acts like Patti Smith, Angelica Liddell or Florentina Holzinger.

To start next season, Milo Rau is staging The Flying Dutchman by Richard Wagner at the legendary Deutsche Oper Berlin, as a road movie through German-Israeli history – from the Holocaust to the present day.
